Governor Ducey today announced that students will repeat their current grade in the 2020/2021 school year. While he appreciates the efforts of all of the Arizona teachers and students, it is necessary for students to complete a full year of education and complete AZ Merit testing. Governor Ducey understands the hardship on Seniors who had expected to graduate in May 2020. The Superintendent of Public Schools will work with them to notify employers or their institutions of higher learning of the new requirements. More information will be forthcoming as this plan is developed.
