Emma Chamberlain, 19 years old was found dead after a car crash.
The crash occurred about 9:30 p.m. at the Lake Saint Charles Boulevard intersection.
A car driven by a 61-year-old Riverview man was headed north on U.S. 301 with a 31-year-old woman riding in the passenger seat, troopers say. Headed in the opposite direction was an 19-year-old Riverview driver headed south on 301. The front end of the 19-year-old’s car struck the front left of the 61-year-old’s car, troopers say. The 61-year-old driver and 31-year-old passenger were not wearing seatbelts, according to the Highway Patrol.
