Due to the chaos created by corona virus, the IB examiners have made an agreement that it is merely impossible for students to catch up on their missed work for next year therefore it is best to do their exams this year on the syllabus they have learnt. They will want all students to have covered only half of the syllabus and therefore moderate tests for that.
