GA Governor announces students to repeat current grade next year. Students will be required to complete an entire year of academics in order to successfully meet requirements for graduation. This includes all public, charter and private school. In a highly contested decision, the state senate voted 44-6 late into the evening of March 31 to approve this measure. This comes on the heels of Governor saying that school would be canceled for the remainder of the school year. To avoid overcrowding, Incoming kindergartens will also need to wait another year before beginning school.
