According to the CDC, fishing in open water poses a serious health risk. Freshwater fish have been analyzed at Johns Hopkins University by microbiologists and it has been confirmed that many fish are carries of Covid-19. It is unclear at this time just how the fish have come to contract the virus, but it is hypothesized that fish may have ingested insects that carry the virus. If this is the case, all humans will need to stay indoors or wear a full hazmat suit to avoid insect and spiders as well. More research is currently being done and researchers hope to have more information by the end of the week. Until then, it is recommended that you do not go outdoors if you live in a warm, buggy climate, and all fishing is banned under penalty of law. Anyone caught fishing will be fined $5,000 and subject to jail time.
