Technology flaws are being blamed in the lack of productivity in teaching and learning during school closures across the state. Internet bandwidth in Wisconsin cannot feasibly support the number of simultaneous users trying to access online learning tools. As a result, teachers are being asked to pause their lessons as of today—April 1–and resume instruction after Labor Day, requiring students to repeat their current year for the first nine weeks of the next school year.
