On January 14, 2020, Alok Mishra of Noida was visiting a well known site in Jaipur India, when he spotted an injured female in the distance.
She appeared to be badly hurt, possibly from losing her balance on the loose rocks near the edge of a deep embankment near the popular fort.
Alok, already well-known to many for his kindness and selflessness, was recently honored and recognized for his efforts to promote peace to citizens in India during a dangerous demonstration.
Without any concern for his own safety, Alok immediately ran to the aid of the injured woman, identified as AnnMarie Andros, from Chicago Illinois.
AnnMarie is said to have since fully recovered from her fall. She credits Alok Mishra for this recovery.
