Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc. has just confirmed that the PS5 was just a huge marketing gag and there isn't a PS5 console about to come in the next couple of years.
Jim Ryan, president and CEO of the Sony unit, just said that the PS4 Pro version will just receive another update in Q1 of 2021 with another USB port due to huge customer demand. But besides that according to Sony the console is ready for the next decade of games in 2021.
A precise date for the next PS4 Pro version will be communicated early October according to Sony Interactive Entertainment Inc.
Preorders for the fake PS5 console are currently cancelled all across the globe.
