Amid school closures for the 2019-2020 school year due to COVID-19 outbreak, the Governor and Texas Board of Education have ruled that all students currently enrolled in the Texas public school system will be required to repeat their current grade. Students are expected to return to school to begin the repeated grade level beginning in August 2020.
