After 9 years of success, the show " the middle " has been set to get a full spinoff in late 2020/ early 2021. This show will feature Axl Heck ( Charlie McDermott ) Will be in charge of 3 young teenage boys, while his wife is off on a summer family trip. The show Will not feature the cast of the original set of characters, but take a full re-work on the others. This early 2020 show will have a similar feel / rating to the classic show.
