Mojang has officially announced that Minecraft will no longer be continued as of December 21 2020 . The developers are in the works of an new better game Mojang themselves said this " The game was a huge success and did way better than we had ever expected. We are sadly shutting down the servers because we are making room for an new improved Minecraft and our whole team here at Mojang will be focused on updating it. We wont be updating Minecraft and will shutdown multiplayer servers but we will leave the option to go back and play old survival or creative worlds. This all for the reason to decrease the hype of Minecraft and make way for our new game.
