Luego de realizarle una revisión de rutina se le encontraron 4 envoltorios con aparentemente "Cristal" y un arma blanca tipo navaja. Los oficiales al encontrar dichos envoltorios y el arma lo sometieron y al subirlo a la patrulla este intento huir e incluso enfrentó a golpes a uno de los oficiales quien cayó noqueado al piso mientras el otro disparo a la pierna del joven quien al no poder correr más fue detenido por el otro oficial. El joven dijo llamarse Gustavo Quiroz con domicilio en la Col Flores Magon.
