The New York Mets have rehired Mickey Callaway, in which they just fired at the stop of the 2019 season. This action occurred at 3:36pm on Saturday January 18, a report from espn stated. After Mets manager Carlos Beltran stepped down as Mets manager after the cheating scandal with the 2017 Astros, the Mets needed a new manager quick along with the Astros and Red Sox. With the hire of Callaway the Mets no longer need a new manager and can finally focus on the 2020 season.
