Walter Sorenson, Senior, from Groveland had an astonishing performance for Bradford Christian Academy yesterday evening. He had started a baseball game batting 1.000, with 2 doubles and a homerun. Incredible performance.
However, this wasn’t enough for the young determined Walter as he preceded to run across the street to throw the javelin for the track meet. It was his first throw of the year and he threw 194.5 feet as he qualified for nationals and broke a state record. He points from this event won BCA the meet.
Following he ran back and closed out the game with 9 pitches, 9 strikes, 3 strikeouts. They won 5-4. What a day for Walter. A true hero.
