BERKELEY COUNTY, SC. (WEHT) – One woman is under investigation for drug trafficking investigation in BERKELEY County.
Detectives with the Union Narcotics Task Force and the BERKELEY County Sheriff’s Office started investigating after they say they got tips of heavy traffic at 38-year-old Kara Ellis's home.
Detectives say they have been surveilling the home for the past week and also did a controlled Oxycodone buy from Ellis.
After buying several grams of Oxycodone from her, detectives say they got a search warrant for her home.
She is said to be armed and dangerous and should be reported to the local sheriff if spotted.
