No último Sábado(13), Ed Boon em uma live na sua rede social, revelou que o Mortal Kombat 12 será o último da frânquia.
O Motivo? Ed Boon disse que não quer que os fãs enjoem da saga histórica que o mortal kombat é. E ainda disse "Nós tentaremos trazer todos os personagens do universo de mk de todos os tempos" completou.
Ainda revelou no final da live que pretende lançar o último jogo da frâquia em 2023.
