Após ter feito a pior campanha de um brasileiro e de um time sul-americana no mundial de clubes da Fifa, o Palmeiras perdeu o vôo que estava marcado para as 4:00 hrs horário de Brasília.
Em entrevista a reportagem Felipe Melo que perdeu o pênalti disse " Mundial é pra time grande, pelo menos jogamos dois jogos e ficamos em 4° lugar, perder o vôo foi só um detalhe".
