A pack of hyenas that were accidentally freed Tuesday in Eldon have been sighted on the outskirts of Boonville. According to the SPCA, do not approach these animals as they are extremely dangerous and aggressive. If you should see them, turn and run the other way. Try to put a fenceline between you and the hyenas as they cannot scale fences. Once safe, please contact the local authorities. Please do not think these are lost pets and try to adopt them or locate their owners. They will eat you.
