Prime Minister Boris Johnson has stated "All secondary and primary secondary schools will not re-opened in the UK, but further measures are being took so young people may continue learning at home." He further adds "The education for our children is very important and will do everything I can to keep them learning. I encourage parents to help their child at home with online learning." Parliament will have a debate tonight the shutting down of 'game servers' to encourage young people to keep with their education at home. The Secretary of State for Education, Rt Hon Gavin Williamson who brought about the thought told us "It had to realistically be done... if we do not take this course of action i believe the online games may be a problem to the education for young people. This may be very difficult for many people to understand this and have this took away, but we are working with major game developers and will hopefully have a way so it will not affect over 16s playing their online games." The 'gaming blackout' as they call it will be taken action from 7AM to 4:50PM. "Not all online game servers will be whitelisted but we are trying are best with developers to do this." The debate will happen on Thursday 21st January 2021. "I am almost completely sure the favour will be for this restriction and we are already making plans for it and preparing it."
