One of the most popular and best-selling games, Minecraft, has been confirmed to be discontinued after the biggest update, 1.17, or as the fans know it, the Caves and Cliffs update, has been fully released to the public.
,,It seemed like all the good ideas weren't coming. People weren't motivated, and it has ben a downward slope ever since.", said Jonas Mårtensson, the chief executive officer of Mojang Studios in an interview on the 6th Jan 2021.
Mojang have yet to release a statement about this, and whether or not it is 100 confirmed.
