Após polêmica envolvendo o defensor Leandro Castan que nesta semana informou que os jogadores do elenco cruzmaltino estavam esgotados fisicamente e mentalmente, o lateral Yago Pikachu explicou em entrevista ao site Lancenet um pouco dessa polêmica. Em entrevista, Pikachu relatou que os treinamentos da equipe técnica Sá pinto são diferentes. Além disso, boa parte do elenco não tinha assimilado os treinos e acham esforço físico demais.
