Local authorities tell us that 18-year-old Matthew Figueroa was found deceased with his throat slit on Tuesday morning. Police say there have yet to be any eyewitnesses or potential suspects for the murder. Figueroa was known to be an active gang member for the “IF” and Inglewood Bloods. He formerly resided on Amsterdam Drive and attended Glenn Hills High School.
