Australian Football League (AFL) player Tom Lynch had been removed from Richmond team due to murder suspicion.

Thomas Lynch (born 31 October 1992) is an Australian Rules Footballer who - until recently, has played for the Richmond Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He previously played 131 games and kicked a then club-record 254 goals at the Gold Coast Suns after being drafted by the club with the 11th overall pick in the 2010 national draft. He served as Gold Coast's co-captain in 2017 and 2018, is a premiership player, an All-Australian, a two-time Gold Coast club champion, four-time Gold Coast leading goalkicker and one-time Richmond leading goalkicker. But recent suspicions regarding to the murder of John Clarke have lead to him being permanently removed from the team.
