It has been confirmed by the Fortnite Social Media Accounts that Fortnite Battle Royal servers will be shutting down on August 27th 2020. As Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 3 was scheduled to end on the same day as they will be shutting down the servers they will give everybody who played within a week of it shutting down will receive a free prize! You may be wondering why the Fortnite Battle Royal servers are shutting, well within the past year Fortnite has been getting less sales and less people playing the game and as famous Fortnite streamers are quitting the game, the marketing team have reported that they don’t have enough money to keep the servers up.
