el capibara habita en lugares tropicales o templado , cerca del agua , puede habitar en el noreste de Venezuela , cuenca del Orinco , Panamá hasta gran parte de sudamerica , nororiente de Colombia y otros lugares más.
Según , en India algo de lo que comen los indios aborígenos es es la carne de el capibara , no solo en India si no también en Brasil , Argentina , Colombia y Venezuela.
