What really happened
——————————
The popular game known as fortnite Battle Royale will be shut down as of January 24th, 2021.
It has been copyrighted and epic games (the company that owns Fortnite) won’t have enough money to Hold servers up. While epic games has not confirmed this on social media, it has been confirmed in many private interviews.
There are many reasons as to why, but only the small percentage of the epic games employees know about this.

Copyright Claims
————————
The well known game Minecraft, wich is ran by a company named Microsoft and created by Mojang, has gotten involved in this ‘event’.
Valve’s Dota 2 and Overwatch have followed Minecraft’s lead into copyright as The battle pass was Valve’s Dota 2’s idea and the Ark skin was a ripoff of the Mercy character in Overwatch.
Call Of Duty then confronted Fortnite over stealing ‘Loot Crates’ and renaming them ‘Supply Drops’.

Drama and Population
———————————
YouTube star Alastair Aiken, better known as Ali-A, has alerted epic games that they are NOT allowed to create a skin based of him due to Privacy. May 12th, Alister will take Tim Sweeny (Founder of Fortnite) to court for stealing identity.
While having a large population, Players of all ages have been quitting everyday. This leads Epic games to believe that Fortnite isn’t doing well enough and will eventually be shutting it down.
The player Xd fishtick will be banned as of 29th June 2020 for using the name of their original skin named Fishstick. Epic games believes that this is copyright and this player will be banned until their username changes. Other Employees of Epic games know this is wrong and is taking the other Employees to court, 31st June 2020.
