A 22-year-old man has been charged following a stabbing in Raywood, north of Bendigo.

The Raywood man has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury, recklessly causing serious injury, and criminal damage by fire.

He has been remanded to appear at the Bendigo Magistrates' Court on Monday.

THE MAN who was airlifted to hospital following a stabbing in Raywood is in a stable condition.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the man, believed to be in his 50s, sustained upper body injuries.

He was taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a stable condition.

A MAN is in custody after a stabbing in Raywood, north of Bendigo.

Investigators were called to the incident on Reillys Road about 9.50am on Saturday.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said a man was in custody and assisting police with their enquiries.EMERGENCY services are responding to a reported stabbing north of Bendigo.

Paramedics were called to the address on Reillys Road in Raywood about 9.50am on Saturday.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said paramedics were treating a man, believed to be in his 50s, for serious injuries
