New York City Mayor Bill Deblasio has extended online school to July 31rst. In a statement Deblasio said "The students have already missed going to physical school. Extending online schooling is necessary for students to continue their education". Many New York school officials do not agree with Deblasio's actions but UFT (United Federation Of Teachers) have decided it is best to follow and go through will Mayor Deblasio in these circumstances when it comes to New York students education and learning.
