Since Mario Kart 9 will be revealing soon on May 1st, there has been a rumor that there will be possibly a return of the Anti-Gravity after Mario Kart 8. Sadly, it be not added into the final game.
Since Mario Kart 9 got announced earlier on April 20th, there has been a rumor that the annonymous user has been said: "There might be a possible return of the Anti-Gravity system from Mario Kart 8, but that will not happen in this installment." So therefore, no Anti-Gravity for MK9. Even still, it is impossible to add that feature in Mario Kart 9.
Nintendo has denied this decision as well, so for this next installment of the Mario Kart franchise, no more Anti-Gravity for this feature of the game's lore.
Mario Kart 9 will be revealed on May 1st, 2020.
