It's official: Nintendo finally announces Mario Kart 9 on April 20, 2020. But here's a twist: the game is not fully revealed yet. The game will be revealed later on May 1st, 2020. Mario Kart 9 will be the ninth installment in the main Mario Kart series (hence the game's name) and, including the arcade games, the fourteenth overall.
According to Nintendo's Twitter account, it says the post "It's time...", featuring an image saying "PLEASE STAND BY". This was rumored as the first teaser to be revealed from Mario Kart 9.
Not much is known about the game's release date, but it will be revealed on May 1st, 2020.
