Remember when we were all scared to death of the needles in fruits scandal? Well, it's back. There were a few reported cases of needles being found in eggs in Woolworths. Numerous people are cracking open eggs to find needles inside.
' It's truly horrifying,' says Mellissa Pregi. She was making a cake for her daughter's birthday when she saw something strange in the batter. 'I took it out to see that it was a needle. I was so confused.'
Scott Morrison has said nothing so far but authorities are warning people to check their eggs twice before consuming them.
Woolworths has stopped supplying them and are currently investigating the situation.
