Students in district 220 in Barrington, Illinois have noticed a pattern in frequent bullying. This circulates around those of freshman in Algebra I, a offered course for those who have a difficult time gripping the concept of basic math. They have encouraged their students to take the course regardless of this teasing. Below is a picture of a student Peru Ceenan*. She shares her story's of bullying in correlation to her enrollment in the course.

Peru*- "Yeah lmao this be my second year in Algebra I"
Questionarre- Have you experienced bullying?
Peru*- "I mean BLIKY BLAH on dem"
Questionarre: please define "blicky blah"
Peru*- I got a cousin in the hood. He gone get y'all if you keep it up. Hood is in my blood dawg"
Questionarre- thank you Peru*.

This should be a flag to all those struggling with basic math that it is OK to have a difficult time. Do not struggle to reach out for help and more understanding. I heard being a flight attendant is fun. ;)
