“To say that this has been a roller coaster would be understatement” says Lt. Nate Figueroa of the Madison Heights Fire Department. After spending last week in the hospital with son that sustained a traumatic injury he came into work to help the citizens of Madison Heights. Unfortunately upon his arrival at work, as part of a newly placed screening policy, it was discovered that Lt. Figueroa screened for possible Covid-19. Lt. Figueroa has since been confirmed to have Covid-19 and is being tested at Beaumont Royal Oak. Now his entire station and personnel he’s been in contact with are under quarantine. Please stay vigilant through these confusing times and keep our local firefighters in your thoughts and prayers.
