The critically-acclaimed popular 1975 Steven Spielberg classic named Jaws was rated PG upon release, as the 12A/ PG-13 certificate was NOT INTRODUCED UNTIL THE LATE 1980s. However, in 2012, a theatrical re release was certified 12 for its language and incredibly gory shark attacks.
