On the 6th of March, BTS vocalist Jeon Jungkook was spotted holding hands with a girl by a fan.
The couple was seen taking a stroll in an amusement park in Rajshahi,Bangladesh, totally immersed in each others company.
"They looked like they've known each other for a long time" said the fan who noticed them.
Controversy sparked as their date pictures went viral on Twitter. Although the girl couldn't be captured properly on camera, some fans took the responsibility of finding her on social media and one such fan did so successfully, later on posting her picture in the new hashtag ' JKhasagirlfriend '
Responding to all the commotion, earlier today, BTS' entertainment company Bighit Entertainment released a statement which read "The youngest in BTS has good feelings for the girl and vice versa and we hope the fans show them their support in this. Thank you."
This in turn, brought in another new wave of questions , ranging from Jungkooks tats to how long this secret has been kept from them for and who the girl really is.
One fan said, "I still can't believe our baby is all grown up now TT its gonna take me some time to register this in my head."
While another said "I don't like how we were kept in the dark for so long, makes me feel as if ARMY and BTS don't really have that strong of a bond as I used to think we did. They couldn't even trust us with this"
Some had questions regarding IU, Jungkooks celebrity crush, asking him why he wasnt dating her.
Almost everyone has the same question "did JK tattoo her initials on his arm too?"
Of course, a news such as this did get some negative comments as well but it seems like the majority of the fandom is really happy for the couple, and so are we!
