Due to unpopular belief, Minecraft is shutting down due to its lack of profits coming from the game. Server owners have had multiple complaints in the past and with Roblox (another 3D-platforming game that believes in imagination in its players) surpassing them with 100 million players each month. Though I do believe Minecraft's Creator (Markus Persson) has a plan that doesn't involve the beloved platform to end so soon. The estimated shutdown date was March 22, 2020, But that date might be pushed back due to other plans made by the creator and his team.
