Fortnite is closing down...In a highly awaited press release on July 23rd, Epic Games (Cary, North Carolina game studio behind Fortnite) announced that Fortnite will be closing in the first quarter of 2020 as a result of "steady declines in player engagement and profits". The studio made no mentions of Fortnite - Battle Royale, the mobile spin-off of Fortnite. However, when asked for a comment a representative for Epic Games said that Fortnite - Battle royale mobile is "doing great" and that the studio plans to continue to release frequent updates to the game. This story will be updated if any new information is released.
