On Thursday, February 13th Mojang annouched that Minecraft will in fact be shutting down. Jeb who is a game developer of Minecraft said that the rumors were true but they’re unsure how they found out. Mojang is assuming it was a prank at first and they didn’t really know. Minecraft will be shutting down at the end of October 2021 around Halloween without an exact date.
