Is Fortnite shutting down in June of 2020? The answer is yes. Epic Games officially said on February 10th on twitter that the rumors of fortnite shutting down are indeed true after Epic Games publicly announced that it is shutting down many fans were disappointed about the news but for most fans it is sadly true. The reason fortnite is shutting down is because they didn't have enough money to keep the servers up another reason is fortnite has recently faced many lawsuits for stealing dance moves.
