Roblox is a massively multiplayer online video game and game creation system that allows users to design their own games and play a wide variety of different types of games created by other users. The platform hosts user-created games and virtual worlds covering a wide variety of genres, from traditional racing and role-playing games to simulations and obstacle courses. As of August 2019, Roblox has over 100 million monthly active users. The developers tweeted that Roblox will be offically shutting down on the 14 of December 2020, the developers also tweeted the reason of the shutdown due to "Low Income". All Roblox players will be refunded if they bought any in-game Robux or Premium/Builders Club Memberships. Roblox Developers that have spent time creating their games will get all their Robux that they earned from their game creation converted into In Real Life Currency. Roblox Designers have tweeted they have had a fun time working for Roblox, but will sadly have to find a new job.
