Mojang CEO Markus "Notch" Persson has recently released in a January 2020 press conference that beloved game Minecraft will be shutting down in March. "Unfortunately, Minecraft sales have been going down so much because of EpicGames's Fortnite that Mojang cannot keep open. The closing date will be on March 5, 2020. Minecraft has been amazing ever since its opening 11 years ago. I am extremely sad to give this message, but there is no way we can keep up with Fortnite." Perrson said. More news to follow.
