The popular kid game (Granny) has been faced with criminal charges for physically and mentally harming kids. ”According to The Game Webcast” a kid was playing this game and his device shut off. When the devise turned back on there was a picture of Granny with a person screaming sound effect in the background. When the kid saw this he had a heart attack and died. Another incident was when a girl was playing this game and the light on her phone started to flicker right when granny was about to “kill” her. When granny did kill her the girls phone blew up resulting in her death.
The company was faced with criminal charges of $20 million for being the cause of the two children’s deaths. The filed a report saying that they did not know that the game would do that and also stated that it was not there fault and should not be charged.
