It has been stated by Microsoft, Sony, Valve and many other game developers that all games and systems will be shutdown on 25th of June 2021.
Many gamers are devastated of this news because they won't be able to play their favorite games! Luckily for some people Fortnite will be shutting down sooner on 26th of March 2020.
Though a website called www.videogamearchive.com will still be running SNES, NES, Game Boy, and PS1 games. But the website is predicted to come up at an unknown date in 2022.
Because of this, all game companies will go bankrupt which is horrible for the workers. A worker by the name of Jack Riticoz has stated "This will go down in history as The Fall of Gaming. My family hopes me for a new job."
The systems will not be able to use discs since the system will shutdown on start-up.
