UAE Residents are enraged over the ban of the mobile app called ‘Hotel Hideaway’. It is a social app that you can make friends on, or even online relationships. It has been blocked in the UAE because of reports of child endangerment. Residents have sent out tweets, saying things such as defending the social app and why it should be brought back to the UAE. Yesterday evening, His highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum sent a tweet listing all of the social apps that have been blocked, regarding that the Ministry of Education and Youth are working hard to keep the children of the UAE safe.
