On Friday CEO of jcpenny Jill soultau announced that they would be liquidating all of its store’s. Jcpenny said that in following years sales had been falling drastically. Jcpenny said that the first locations to close are in Arkansas,Minnesota,Kansas,Iowa,Idaho and Oklahoma. Jcpenny also says that all of their stores will be closed by June 25,2020. Jcpenny intends to keep open its top performing stores. Jcpenny,s falling popularity may be the cause for the mass closure. Jcpenny will start closing its stores on March 11.
