A current lawsuit is happening between activision and infinity ward about the rights of call of duty. Infinity ward said today that “activision’s license to call of duty has expired they signed a contract that gave them a 10 year permit to the franchise, that expired a due years ago. We allowed them a few more years to continue but after cod black ops 4 it expired yet they continued to work on the franchise they have broken the contracts rules and will now have to survey in court”. We also got an interview with the ceo of activision and he stated that “ we do have the rights to call of duty infinity ward allowed us to make cod modern warfare yet after the games release they said that we didn’t even though we had evidence they still said that there was no contact between us and infinity ward. There is nothing to fear we will win this trial so we can continue making games for our loyal fans”. The trial will begin on the 23rd January 2020 until then we will have to hope that there will be an agreement stopping us from losing a beloved game company from going bankrupt.
