Yes you read that right Game Freak has confirmed with their tweet that Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are the last game in the series. The tweet that confirms this reads, "We actually only planned to make six generations but you all wanted more and now all you do is complain about the smallest mistakes so that's why there will be no more Pokemon games or remakes, goodbye." So yes Pokemon is over the Game Freak president, Satoshi Tajiri confirmed this when asked by saying, "Yes we will never make another Pokemon game again as it lacks originality and all our fans do is complain so we decided to stop putting so much pressure on our employees by making no more Pokemon games." This is truly a sad day for gamers.
