Sadly, Minecraft published some news saying that 1.17 will be the last update. The cause of this is the large amount of players on the servers.
Fans worldwide are upset about this news and believed it. They then said, “Please don’t stop the updates! There is so much stuff you can add! Just add 3 more updates?”
In related news, the game will no longer be in stores by March 18th, 2021 and will shut down all servers by April 2024.
