Mojang posted a tweet saying “in 2021 Minecraft will be shutting down due to having scary mobs and it’s popular”. Everybody was freaking out when that was posted, even PewDiePie (Felix Kjellberg) is disappointed about it. The end of Minecraft is in 2 more years.
