Due to massive income decrease, Minecraft has officially stated that they can "No longer support the 24TB Servers that host realms, Minecraft updates, etc" According to the manager of Minecraft income, Josh Herbert. This change will also allow for newer sandbox games to get their feet on the ground in this business. Although as you might know, Microsoft has a staggering amount of money, almost all of it is being donated or paid to their staff, and only have a couple hundred thousand in reserves, and that is not enough to keep Barracuda servers up and running
